Job Summary: Provides support to organization fund-raising activities including individual philanthropy (major and planned gifts, direct mail appeals, Internet outreach), Foundation and corporate giving and special events. Assists management in creating a philanthropic culture throughout the Board, its consultants and its advisory council in order to achieve a continuing increase in fundraising results. Job Requirements: Education and Work Experience: Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required Bachelor's Degree: Preferred Three years' fundraising experience: Preferred Essential Functions: Utilizes data to design and implement donor cultivation and engagement strategies. Supports team in maximizing every opportunity to leverage individual, corporate and Foundation contributions. Makes donor contacts by phone, written correspondence and person-to-person. Maintains strong working relationships with stakeholders and represents the organization in external events and community partnerships. Assists with the development and implementation of strategies to meet short and long-term goals of the department and organization. Identifies and deepens long-term relationships with donors. Assists with evaluating grant proposals. Assists in the development of programming and content for donor recognition and campaign-related programs/events. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Organizational Requirements: Adventist Health is committed to the safety and wellbeing of our associates and patients.
