The Associate Marketing Manager will hold primary responsibility for the marketing of the company's products that are sold direct to retail. This position will also work with the Director of Marketing to develop marketing strategies and identify new opportunities with a major focus on ecommerce marketing. Additionally, the individual in this position will develop and implement marketing initiatives to promote the company's contract manufacturing capabilities, including trade show materials, media campaigns, and management of our online presence.

Essential Functions:
  • Create, implement, and maintain digital marketing campaigns to build brand awareness and contribute to the growth of the sales pipeline for both the direct to retail business and the contract manufacturing business.
  • Own the brand presence of our brands in the digital space and ensure that all digital marketing initiatives support the brand marketing strategies.
  • Manage the brand content on each of the brand websites and all brand-owned social media pages including the development of the content strategy and all necessary updates/posts, etc.
  • Provide oversight and day to day management of the brand social media influencer program including research to identify appropriate influencers, on-boarding of new influencers, analysis of influencer results and recommendations to continually improve the influencer program.
  • Participate in the creative development of new packaging artwork.
  • Create periodic email campaigns using our customer database
  • Oversee the implementation of Google, Bing and other PPC campaigns and ensure that the PPC campaigns continue to drive sales effectively and efficiently.
  • Work with the internal team to develop content for online sites that are aligned with our brand strategy and ensure that content is updated as appropriate.
  • Coordinate trade shows and other marketing events, including digital and printed materials, outbound communications, development of trade show booth, scheduling, travel arrangements, shipping, etc.
  • Architect, maintain, and update sales presentations, trade journal ads, and other digital/print communications to ensure alignment with current sales strategy for both the direct to retail business and the contract business.
  • Serve as a back-up to answer product related calls, emails, and online reviews from retail customers. Provide an extremely high level of customer service in doing so and communicate results of the interactions to the requisite internal team members.
  • Understand manufacturing capabilities and equipment to effectively develop marketing and promotional materials as needed. Coordinate printing of marketing materials.
  • Support other departments as needed including HR recruitment efforts, monthly company newsletters, etc.
  • Assist in the management of agencies and other outside marketing partnerships
Requirements:
  • Requires a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years related work experience in marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of consumer products industry, consumer products regulations and/or retail sales is a plus.
  • Solid experience in digital marketing including website development and management, social media advertising and management, Influencer marketing, etc.
  • Ecommerce experience is required. This should include developing new listings including accompanying imagery, A+ content, Brand Stores and promotional efforts including advertising and other promotions.
  • Demonstrated excellence in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point), experience with Google suite and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated excellence in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, etc.) and Canva.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills; ability to effectively proofread and edit high-level documents.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret market trends, business information, journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with information.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, along with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills along with ability to perform well under pressure while maintaining composure and respect for everyone.


Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
