The Role: We are seeking an Associate IT Project Manager to assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, timelines, and budgets. What you will Do: Coordinate with stakeholders to gather project requirements and objectives Support the identification and allocation of project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials Monitor project progress and track key milestones, risks, and issues Assist in conducting regular project meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting meeting minutes Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including status reports, presentations, and post-implementation reviews Develop and provide training staff members as needed Help ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and quality standards Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for enhancement in project management processes and practices Who you Are: Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Microsoft Planner, Microsoft Excel or other Knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall, and the ability to adapt to different project environments Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality results Previous experience in IT project management or related roles is preferred but not required Project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2) is a plus STR is a growing technology company with locations near Boston, MA, Arlington, VA, near Dayton, OH, Melbourne, FL, and Carlsbad, CA.
