Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking an Associate Industrial Security Analyst or Industrial Security Analyst to join our team of talented and diverse individuals supporting the site and Sky Range program at our Emerado, ND location. This position will support the industrial security team.
The responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following: Develops and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.
Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations.
Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies.
Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials.
Conducts security education classes and security audits. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
Responsible for accurate data input into an access control database.
Maintain document control inventories.
Serve as part of Personnel Security
Ensure adherence to contractual guidance for classified programs and cleared facilities in accordance with DD Form 254, DoD Contract Security Classification Specifications guidance.
Assist program managers and professional staff in the interpretation, application and compliance with program Security Classification Guides (SCG).
Supporting a fast-paced high-profile environment.
Reconcile multiple databases for accuracy.
Provide briefings/debriefings to personnel for activities such as: new hires, terminations, foreign defensive travel, investigations.
Coordinates escort activities within open-storage areas.
Interface with Program Management Team, Customer, and suppliers. Write security operational plans for program implementation.
Responsible for S inventory and self-inspections.
Perform COMSEC duties as COMSEC custodian or alternate Basic Qualifications for Associate Industrial Security Analyst: Must be a US Citizen
High School Diploma with 4 years of relevant security experience as a police officer, military security, or Allied Universal Officer; or 0 with a Bachelors Degree.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs. Experience in data entry or Document Control.
Ability to work as a team and complete assigned tasks with minimal input.
Exposure and experience working with management and customers including; material custodians to maintain inventory records. Basic Qualifications for Industrial Security Analyst: Must be a US Citizen
High School Diploma with 7 years of relevant security experience as a police officer, military security, or Allied Universal Officer; or Bachelors Degree with 3 years; or 1 year with a Masters Degree.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs. Experience in data entry or Document Control.
Ability to work as a team and complete assigned tasks with minimal input.
Exposure and experience working with management and customers including; material custodians to maintain inventory records.
Working knowledge of MS Office
Experience interpreting and implementing security policies and procedures.
Ability to work independently and follow projects through to completion.

Possess a thorough understanding and working knowledge of NISPOM security standards as well as OPSEC, personnel, industrial, cyber, physical, and Information Security principles.
Understanding and familiarity of DD-254 Implementation Requirements.
Demonstrated positive working relationships with internal and external customers.
Proficient with NISS, DISS, and SIMS.
Active U.S. Government security clearance at the Secret level completed within the last six years.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to maintain flexibility to deal with changing priorities and deadlines.
Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tool suites such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Salary Range: $51,400 - $77,200
Salary Range 2: $62,200 - $93,400 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
