Associate Director of Integration

Salary: $68,000 - 79,000 DOE

Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm flexible

Location: Hudson, OH


The Associate Director, Integration role is to plan, coordinate, architect, and supervise all activities related to the integration of software programs, applications, and third-party solutions as required to meet the business requirements of the organization. This role is also responsible for developing and maintaining an application integration architecture blueprint for the organization. The Associate Director, Integration will oversee testing of the interoperability of application modules under development by in-house software development teams, commercial off-the-shelf software deployed in the organization, and with external third parties as necessary. Proven communication skills, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of integration best practices are critical to successful performance in this role.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Administers planning functionality for the integration of organizations software programs, applications, and third-party solutions.

  • a. Develops and maintains an integration architecture blueprint for the organization.

  • b. Plans, executes, and manages the integration of new applications into existing systems and software throughout the enterprise.

  • c. Plans, executes, and manages new application integration technology into the existing AI environment.

  • d. Ensures that integration projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues.

  • e. Develops standards and processes to support and facilitate integration projects and initiatives.

  • Plans and executes acquisition and deployment of organization's software programs, applications, and third-party solutions.

  • a. Research and make recommendations on integration products and services in support of procurement and development efforts.

  • b. Collaborates with analysts, designers, and system owners in the testing of newly-

  • integrated software programs and applications.

  • c. Leads integration testing phase of software and applications under development in order to identify and remedy potential problem areas.

  • d. Liaise with software developers and engineers to address issues in program logic and the interoperability of new applications with existing systems software.

  • e. Builds relationships with software development and engineering teams to gain an understanding of application architectures and required functionality.

  • f. Builds relationships with vendors of application software deployed in organizations information technology environment to learn about and provide feedback on their technical integration capabilities.

  • Provides operational management to support issues regarding organization software programs, applications, and third-party solutions.

  • a. Ensures the collection and coherent interpretation of the various business processes affected by integration efforts.

  • b. Works diligently to enhance or improve business processes via integration or, as necessary, minimize the impact of integration on those processes.

  • c. Evaluates results of integration projects, then report and make recommendations based on findings.

  • d. Provides guidance to other team members, where necessary.

  • Performs other information technology support tasks, projects, and duties as may be required from time to time as directed by Director, Data & Integration.
