The Opportunity: The Associate Director, National Accounts develops long-term customer relationships with key National Accounts, including retailers, wholesalers, distributors, and long-term care pharmacy service groups and service providers. You will create opportunities for sales growth within each targeted account through account management, obtaining contract commitments and developing appropriate value-added programs.
This role is a remote position, but will travel up to 50% of the time for key customer meetings, conferences, Business Planning meetings, home office workshops, etc.
The Role Responsible for developing account-level objectives, strategies, and executing account plans to support CSL Seqirus brand business objectives; account plans will be developed in such a way to support reach, retention and growth within key customers
Responsible for accounts that have impact on CSL Seqirus' strategic goal
Acts as the primary contact and manages all aspects of CSL Seqirus business for a defined group of accounts
Analyzes account objectives for each product and develops strategic/tactical plans to accomplish brand business objectives
Implement contracts through successful negotiation and customer communication
Understand sales trends for each account, achieve defined goals and objectives, and promote a mutually beneficial business relationship while observing CSL Seqirus Core Values.
Develop and maintain contacts within the industry to obtain environmental, and product-specific information
Build and maintain long-term relationships within defined customer base to ensure customer alignment and create a foundation for new business
Work with internal and external stakeholders to enhance CSL Seqirus position in the market
Partner with Account Directors, National Account Managers, and Regional Account Managers across other classes of trade to establish and implement strategic and tactical programs reflected in business plans/account plans
Responsible for cultivating a close relationship with cross functional team colleagues in Medical Affairs, Marketing, Distribution / Logistics, Customer Service, Finance, Legal, Contracting and Public Affairs to implement corporate, operational (shipping/inventory), market access and brand specific strategies and tactics
Use resources provided by cross functional partners including educational materials, clinical in-services, and marketing or other service agreements
Represents CSL Seqirus at key trade and customer meetings / conferences.
Promotes CSL Seqirus portfolio of products to key customers to drive differentiation for CSL Seqirus and to secure successful long-term business relationships
Ensures a strong culture of compliance
Your skills and experience: Bachelor or Master degree in a scientific or business field
8-10 years' experience in sales and large account management or equivalent experience
Demonstrated success with large account management, market share growth and product profitability
Experience in product marketing and/or sales of pharmaceutical/biotech products
Demonstrated contract negotiation and execution with key customers
Experience in executing strategies and tactics with national key accounts through cross-functional teams
