Associate Director, Acquisition Marketing

About the role

As the Associate Director of Acquisition Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to acquire new customers and drive growth for Wonder. You will lead a team of marketing specialists across digital, offline, and local marketing channels and collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to optimize our acquisition funnel, maximize ROI, and achieve ambitious business objectives. This role is instrumental in shaping and executing our customer acquisition strategy, contributing to Wonder's overall success.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive acquisition marketing strategies to drive customer growth across various channels, including digital advertising, SEO, SEM, social, and local partnerships.
  • Manage the acquisition marketing budget, allocate resources effectively, and continuously optimize campaigns to achieve maximum ROI and efficiency.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of acquisition marketing specialists, providing guidance, feedback, and support to help them achieve individual and departmental goals.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly track, analyze, and report on the performance of acquisition marketing initiatives, providing actionable insights and recommendations for optimization of marketing campaigns and general improvements.

Collaborate closely with other departments across Product, Engineering, Creative, Operations, Analytics and more, to drive higher acquisition performance and make others aware of any impact your teams' efforts will have on other work streams.

The experience you have

  • Experience in acquisition marketing, with a focus on customer acquisition, preferably in the restaurant industry or food tech sector.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and executing multi-channel acquisition marketing strategies that drive customer growth and revenue.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to build, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, including paid social, SEM, as well as offline and local marketing tactics.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques to drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively influence and align cross-functional teams.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving measurable impact and achieving business objectives.

Base Salary Range: $183,750
