The Program Manager is responsible for supporting deal creation, overseeing proposal preparation, applicable Gate Reviews, supporting negotiations, initial contract start-up, establishing and supporting regular customer status meetings, and coordinating with the McKinney-based teams, matrixed functional support teams, ensure timely completion of development/delivery milestones per the IMS, post-delivery support, and engineering services efforts. This position includes management of integrated product team (IPT) leads, various functional supporters, and direct report program management employee(s) to ensure all contract, technical, and programmatic requirements are met. Understanding of product licensing structures, capture management experience, experience transitioning IRAD to a licensed product a plus. This position is an ONSITE role located in our McKinney, Texas facility. Responsibilities to Anticipate: Lead strategic customer engagements on a regular basis. Work with Chief Engineer, Finance and Contracts to develop product specific licensing approaches to accelerate deal closure and license delivery to customers. Interface and coordinate technical support to resolve customer issues. Identify financial risk and opportunities. Profit and Loss for selected portions of the Night Cover Portfolio, including oversight of RTX company investments (IRAD, CFR, ARs, etc.) Monitor Program performance relative to plan and make necessary adjustments to ensure program requirements are met. Able to travel at minimum 30%. NO RELOCATION ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE Qualifications/Experience Needed: Twelve (12) years' experience as a program or project manager, managing level-of-effort or completion-based task orders, award fee or fixed fee contracts. Shall have demonstrated experience in conducting requirements analysis, resource allocation, project costing, deliverable tracking, schedule and financial data monitoring, and reporting. Direct experience in managing multi-task contracts and subcontracts of various types and complexity, as well as experience in supporting a multi-vendor environment is required. Identification of program technical risks and opportunities at both the system and component level with effective mitigation/handling plans Manage high-performing, multi-disciplined/multifunctional teams in highly-matrix environment. Ability to work in a self-guided manner with minimal direction. Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience. Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Must have a US Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
