Job Description

GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:

The Clinical Budget Management Associate Director focuses on assessing the budget impact on future study designs and changes to studies in conduct. Regular activities include ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of team deliverables, leading project plans to strengthen the team, and presenting high level reviews to internal and external stakeholders. This role is part of a highly collaborative team focused on providing real-time information to support decision making and transparency to external stakeholders.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaboration

  • Serves as the point person for completing priority projects including understanding requirements, assessing and delegation of tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Partners with stakeholders including Finance, Outsourcing and Senior Leadership to understand requirements, and then execute plan to deliver required information as agreed upon

Optimization

  • Drives Technology Roadmap including Machine Learning (Bots) and PowerBI and Cost models to support decision making
  • Oversees deliverables to ensure accuracy of current study budgets for accrual expense recognition including vendor and site budgets

Leadership

  • Coaches and mentors team members on addressing open issues that meet the values and expectations
  • Builds accountability and recognition through defining, measuring, and reviewing individual and team KPI's

Required Education Level

  • Bachelor's degree is required .

Required Experience

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant work

  • At least 3 years of direct experience as a manager on key projects or initiatives

Required Knowledge / Skills

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to deliver information inside a cross functional environment
  • Strong project management skills with demonstrated experience in taking an idea to an operational plan
  • Ability to solve routine and complex issues from start to end
  • Possesses expert computer skills to utilize multiple databases to extract and summarize data for presentations
  • Demonstrates ability to coach and mentor team members without direct supervision


Pay Range:

$152,000 - $228,000

Disclosure Statement:

The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
