The Role

We are a land surveying and civil engineering services provider, looking to appoint a highly motivated Associate Civil Project Engineer to our growing team.

You will be at the forefront of innovative design and development initiatives, collaborating closely with our team of professionals, leveraging your expertise in civil engineering to drive projects forward.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Ensure technical accuracy, standard engineering practices, and inclusion of appropriate documentation on various reports and design projects.
  • Evaluate alternatives, resolve technical issues and interface with other internal professional disciplines, namely CLE's land surveying and geotechnical engineering divisions.
  • Perform engineering interpretation of specifications and drawings, recommending and documenting design modifications, and coordinating with the project manager.
  • Make supervised assessment of engineering problems and recommend solutions to engineering discipline leads, resolve questions, plan, coordinate, and execute work in a safe, timely, cost effective and compliant manner.
  • Assist the Project Manager/Principal Engineer with all aspects of the daily crew workload.

The Person


  • While professional licensure is not mandatory, candidates with a solid understanding of civil engineering principles and practical experience in the field are strongly preferred.
  • Experience with design site development including permitting, grading, drainage, street design, erosion control, hydrology, storm drainage, water distribution, and sanitary sewer collection systems.
  • Proficiency in Auto CAD and Microsoft Office.
  • Working or educational experience with Civil Engineering (1-3 years) in the US.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant field.
  • Highly motivated and team oriented.
