If you are looking to build a strong career, we have an opportunity for you. We are searching for an Associate Brand Manager to join our team located at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.

Your Role:

As an Associate Brand Manager with Reynold's Presto business unit, you will identify opportunities for innovation development by analyzing category, segment and consumer trends; and monitor competitive activity. You will lead cross-functional teams to commercialize and launch new products including development of sales materials to meet consumer and shopper needs to drive RCP market share. You will coordinate across functional teams to provide product and costing information to support retailer bid requests and coordinate with R&D on quality and cost reduction projects. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Analyze current category/product performance, trends, market conditions and other contributing factors in making recommendations to achieve revenue goals.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of competitive activity and consumer dynamics.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to launch new line extensions as well as commercialize packaging/product changes to achieve plan commitments.
  • Engage and manage external resources as necessary to support new product development process.
  • Collaborate on concept/product testing to determine innovation potential.
  • Develop sales collateral materials and communicate new product plans to field sales.
  • Organize and deliver presentations for field sales to use with customers for new distribution/new product sell in opportunities.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to provide product recommendations and costing information to support retailer bid requests.
  • Collaborate with R&D and Quality on cost reduction projects to drive increased product profitability.
  • Prepare and communicate project/business update reports to management.
  • Develop internal communications to create excitement around Business Wins and New Product Introductions.

We need you to have:

  • BA/BS degree, Sales, Marketing or other business-related field.
  • 2+ years of related professional brand management/marketing experience in the CPG industry.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Experience with Nielsen or IRI consumer and syndicated data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization.
  • Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and various internal customers.
  • Strong analytical skills as well as organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify, analyze and resolve problems logically and systematically.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines.
  • Must be team oriented and able to work on high collaboration and high-performance teams.
  • Ability to travel (5%).

Icing on the cake:

  • MBA or other advanced degree a plus.
  • Experience with research and new product development is a plus.
