We have an attractive career opportunity for an experienced municipal utilities district attorney to join our client's growing Sugar Land office. The position is with boutique firm that specializes in Texas MUD law, working exclusively working with developers, local governments and state agencies to provide legal counsel for public infrastructure finance and development projects. Over the last 10 years, the partners have maintained a culture that offers engaging work where professional growth is encouraged and work life balance is possible.

The incoming attorney will have significant responsibilities helping identify solutions for MUD districts and other special districts in large and small scale development projects. We are seeking candidates with a background in MUD law, but attorneys with a real estate background representing property owner/homeowners associations will also be considered. This is not a heavy litigation role and requires strong interpersonal skills for an array of client facing responsibilities.

Job Details

2+ years of previous experience working with MUD districts, representing POAs/HOAs or in real estate law is required. Charisma and strong interpersonal skills are a must for success in this position. All applicants must also possess strong academic credentials (transcripts may be requested).
