We are currently seeking a Permanent Associate Attorney - Corporate Tax to join our dynamic Legal team. This unique position is perfect for a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual who has a passion for corporate law and taxation. The successful candidate will be responsible for advising clients on a broad range of corporate tax issues, including mergers and acquisitions, alternative investments, and both public and private work. Responsibilities:

As a Associate Attorney, your core responsibilities will include:

1. Providing expert legal advice to corporate clients on a wide range of tax matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate structuring, and alternative investments.
2. Managing and overseeing all aspects of corporate transactions, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
3. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various corporate and tax-related documents and agreements.
4. Representing clients in tax disputes and litigation, if necessary.
5. Working closely with other attorneys and professionals to provide comprehensive legal solutions to clients.
6. Keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in corporate tax law and utilizing this knowledge to benefit our clients and firm.
7. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their businesses, and providing outstanding customer service.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Permanent Associate Attorney - Corporate Tax role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the CA state bar.
3. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Corporate Transactional Attorney, with a strong focus on corporate tax, mergers and acquisitions, and alternative investments.
4. Experience working with both public and private sector clients.
5. Exceptional knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
6. Proven ability to manage complex corporate transactions and provide expert tax advice.
7. Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
9. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
10. Willingness to keep up-to-date with the latest developments in corporate tax law.
