Job Summary:
Seeking a tax associate for one of California's largest full-service law firms with a successful and expanding corporate and tax practice. Emphasis in this role will be on tax planning, federal and state tax controversy and litigation, mergers and acquisitions, business entity structuring, and general corporate practice.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work closely in a collaborative, low ego environment with our highly experienced team of corporate attorneys and paraprofessionals, representing a diverse group of reputable and well-established clients. Job Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the State of California.
• Must come from a top law school with solid grades. (Transcripts will be requested).
• 2-4 years of experience and have an understanding of corporate and partnership taxation, business transactions, and corporate law.
• Depending on the year level, candidates should have experience with structuring M&A transactions and drafting tax-related transactional documents.
• Should come from a firm with a comparable corporate and tax practice.
• Possess an L.L.M in taxation or Master of Business Taxation (MBT).
