Job Details

This firm is seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Litigation Attorney for their Orlando office to join their talented team and build their increasingly busy Commercial Litigation practice. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in commercial litigation, particularly in commercial real estate litigation, and a deep understanding of business, contracts and commercial law. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who is looking to handle complex, challenging, and high-stakes commercial litigation matters. The candidate will work closely with our team of seasoned attorneys, providing legal advice and services to our clients and representing them in all stages of litigation.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare cases and legal strategies
• Represent clients in legal proceedings, such as hearings, trials, and arbitrations
• Utilize electronic discovery tools
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs, with minimal supervision.
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Negotiate settlements and client interaction
• Partner with colleagues to share information, resolve client issues, and support all client projects
• Communicate with clients regarding procedural, case processing issues, and case strategy
• Supervise the work of paralegal staff in record keeping and document preparation

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Admission to the Florida state bar association, in good standing
• 3+ years of Commercial Litigation experience with knowledge of state laws and regulations
• Ideal experienced is in Construction Law, Business Law, Appeals, School Proceedings, HOA, Civil Litigation, Real Estate Litigation, and Title Work
• Experienced in managing a high volume of cases
• Empathic associate with great interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work on-site in Orlando, independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
• Spanish bilingual is helpful
• Experience with Filevine, Lead Docket is helpful
