Job Details

Job Responsibilities:

Written Discovery
  • Draft written discovery, review responses and document productions, participating in e-discovery review
  • Draft motions related to written discovery disputes, responses to pleading challenges, oppositions to Motions for Summary
  • Adjudication, and other motions in furtherance of our client's claims against car manufacturers and dealers
  • Oral arguments in various courtrooms relating to discovery disputes, pleading challenges, case management conferences, summary judgment motions, and ex parte requests

Depositions
  • Preparing clients and defending consumer client depositions
  • Deposing percipient witnesses
  • Deposing corporate representative - defense witnesses
  • Preparing expert witnesses and attending expert depositions

Travel
  • Travel within California for court appearances, vehicle inspections, and depositions

Further opportunities to quickly grow into assisting higher-stakes depositions, trial preparation work, and second chairing trial

Job Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of litigation experience as a California licensed attorney
  • J.D. from an ABA accredited law school
  • California Bar license in good standing
  • Bilingual Spanish is preferred, but not required
  • Proficient in MS Office and Westlaw
