Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate Attorney to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented attorney looking to work on stimulating legal issues in a fast-paced, innovative environment. You will be part of a dedicated team responsible for providing legal advice and guidance on a wide range of legal matters, with a focus on legal liability. This position requires a high level of professionalism, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a demanding environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Analyze and interpret laws, rulings, and regulations with probable case impacts for individuals and businesses.
2. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and other legal documents.
3. Provide legal advice to the company on a wide range of issues, including legal liability, to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
4. Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support decision-making.
5. Represent the company in court, before government agencies, or in private legal matters.
6. Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsel, public authority, etc.), creating relations of trust.
7. Develop solutions to complex legal questions and provide extensive legal advice.
8. Work closely with the team to manage potential legal liability and mitigate potential legal risks.
9. Keep abreast of legislative changes that may affect the company and its affiliates.
10. Perform pre-litigation work to minimize risks and maximize legal rights.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admitted to the state bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law.
3. Minimum of 2 years of legal experience, with a strong focus on litigation.
4. Proven experience as a legal counsel in a business environment.
5. Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures.
6. Full comprehension of the influences of the external environment of a corporation.
7. High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas.
8. Excellent negotiation and communications skills.
9. Analytical ability and strong attention to detail.
10. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
11. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software.
12. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
13. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
