We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate Attorney specializing in Family Law to join our esteemed legal firm. This onsite, full-time position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse and exciting clientele, providing expert legal advice and representation in a range of family law matters. As a key member of our team, you will be instrumental in shaping the outcomes of critical cases, with a focus on estate planning and probate, divorce, and other aspects of family law. This role is ideal for a passionate, dedicated professional looking to make a significant impact in the lives of individuals and families navigating complex legal landscapes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive legal representation to clients in all aspects of family law, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, property division, prenuptial agreements, and domestic violence cases.
  • Conduct legal research and draft complex legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, memoranda, and other legal papers.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations, advocating for their best interests.
  • Develop and implement effective case strategies in collaboration with clients and colleagues.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, and government regulations related to family law.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, providing empathetic counsel and maintaining open lines of communication.
  • Collaborate with a team of legal professionals, contributing to the firm's overall success.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
  • Active member in good standing with the Illinois State Bar.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in family law, with a particular focus on estate planning and probate, and divorce.
  • Proven track record of representing clients in family law matters, with demonstrable success in negotiation, mediation, and litigation.
  • Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional ethics and client confidentiality.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
