Job Details

Our firm is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Permanent Attorney who is passionate about the legal field and dedicated to providing exceptional legal services. This role will involve working on a variety of legal cases, conducting thorough legal research, and drafting complex legal documents. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in case management, legal writing, and legal research. The successful candidate will be responsible for representing our clients in court, advising clients on their legal rights, and ensuring that all case files are managed effectively.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide high-quality legal advice to clients and ensure their legal rights and interests are protected.
2. Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case preparation and legal proceedings.
3. Draft, review, and revise various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and agreements.
4. Represent clients in court and negotiate settlements on their behalf.
5. Manage all aspects of client cases, from inception through resolution, ensuring that all case files are properly maintained and updated.
6. Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure the effective and efficient handling of cases.
7. Stay updated on current laws, regulations, and legal practices to provide the most accurate and relevant legal advice to clients.
8. Participate in continuing legal education programs and professional development activities to maintain and enhance legal knowledge and skills.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 2+ years of experience as a practicing attorney.
3. Strong experience in legal research, legal writing, and case management.
4. Admission to the Texas state bar and in good standing.
5. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
6. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
7. Proven ability to manage multiple cases and projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines.
8. Strong ethical and professional standards, including a commitment to client confidentiality.
9. Proficiency in using legal software and technology for case management and legal research.
10. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
