Basic Function
The Admissions Associate Advisor AAA supports the Admission Advisors in processing and follow-up of admissions lead and prospect generation including assisting with administrative and admissions processes. AAA is considered both a career counselor and initial assessor of student appropriateness for Gurnick Academy programs. The AAA assists in the primary screener for student acceptance through using a combination of tools including interviewing, initial competency test scores, review of experience, and review of prior academic requirements. The AAA will ultimately require the knowledge of each program at all campuses and be prepared to offer counsel to prospective students on both the viability of the program for the student and ensuring the students stated goals are in alignment with the career opportunities presented by the program the student is interested in.
