Assistant Warehouse Manager

Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting for a Parts Warehouse Assistant Manager in Georgetown, KY . As a Parts Warehouse Assistant Manager you will be responsible for maintaining shipping/receiving, distribution of parts to customers, maintains warehouse organization and cleanliness, directs work of warehouse associates, inventory, leadership, on time delivery, and multitasking. Responsibilities for this Parts Warehouse Assistant Manager job include:

- Maintains receiving and distribution of operations
- Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orientation and training employees
- Overseeing receiving and storing of all standard storeroom stock and special order parts
- Oversees inventory, maintains proper stock levels to assure adequate quantities are available
- Obtain quotes and negotiate comparative prices, order parts from vendors, work within budget constraints
- Issue shared equipment maintained in storeroom
- Operate forklift and other basic lifts and labor-saving devises
- Monitor work performance and lead training to improve employees

Qualifications:

- Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2-5 years experience working in a warehouse
- Strong leadership, conflict resolutions, multitasking, good work ethic, honesty, ability to direct others in a respectful manner
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work any shift including overtime, holidays, weekends and shutdowns
- Must have reliable transportation
- Proficient in speaking, reading and writing English
- MUST be able to pass background check, physical and hair follicle drug test

Pay Details: $31.25 to $34.62 per hour
