Title: Assistant Training Manager

Location: Oakland, CA

Type: Contract/Contract-To-Hire

Rate: $60-70 per hour

General responsibilities:

Assist with the management of the Training Program to provide the District staff with the knowledge, skills, and capabilities to operate and maintain the Communications Based Train Control (CBTC) System.

Specific responsibilities:

Ensure all training and documentation deliverables developed by company and its subcontractors comply with the Contract requirements.

Partner with the District training departments (and functional departments, if necessary) to plan and implement the training program by regularly communicating on schedule, open issues and resolutions, status of work, training outcomes.

Review District Rules, procedures and the personnel organization and recommend updates,

Collaborate with the Training Manager to establish and maintain a training and documentation calendar and schedule for all CBTC training personnel and District participants by indicating everyone's assigned training class by location, date, and time throughout the training program.

Support the District's management and data entry into Maximo by identifying O&M Manual procedures corresponding to assets, configuration, location, and parts data, furnished under the Contract.

Review and submit extracted excerpts from District accepted O&M manuals, as agreed to with the District, and submit in electronic formats.
