R.J. Corman Railroad Company has a need for an
Assistant Track Inspector.This individual will assist in the inspection of track and properly maintain/upkeep all records in compliance with FRA mandates.
Job Duties:- Assist in the daily, weekly, and monthly inspection of track.
- Identify areas requiring repair or maintenance.
- Build and maintaineffective customer relationships.
- Complete/maintain all requireddocumentation per FRA mandate.
- Schedule inspections for track utilizing industries.
- Promote a safe workenvironment.
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:- Prefer a background in construction; railroad experience a plus
- Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills
- Mathematical and writing skills
- A valid commercial drivers license is a plus
