Posting Number: F Position Title: Assistant Teaching Professor - Microbiologist Position Type: Faculty Location: Villanova, PA Recruitment Type: Internal/External Applicants Work Schedule: full-time/9-months Department: 183-Biology Position Summary: Villanova University's Department of Biology invites applications for a Continuing Non-Tenure-Track ASSISTANT TEACHING PROFESSOR position, beginning August 2024. Our new colleague will contribute to the vibrant curriculum of the department primarily in two ways - teaching courses in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Microbiology for both biology majors and non-majors. We seek candidates whose teaching has prepared them to contribute to our department's commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Duties and Responsibilities: Our new colleague will teach undergraduate courses that include Microbiology for Biology majors and non-majors and may have the potential to develop and teach a course(s) in the Biology Department Curriculum in the future. Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. in Biology. Applications from M.D. (or equivalent) degree holders will also be considered.
