Assistant Roofing Repair Technician

North American Roofing is a commercial roofing contractor in the United States. We are searching for an Assistant Service Repair Technician located in Birmingham, Alabama. Average pay rate for this position is $19-$22 / Hr. Purpose of the Job: Assist the Lead Service Technician with investigating and repairing a variety of low-slope roof types. Job Duties: Assist Lead Technician in service repairs Assist Lead Technician on small contract jobs Assist Lead Technician with inspections on minor preventative maintenance repairs Assisting in all snow and hurricane events to either participate in repairs or supervision Assist Lead Technician with driving when necessary & preferably 2-3 years of commercial roofing experience Skills and Qualifications: Ability to obtain OSHA certification will be required Must be able to climb a ladder; position may require lifting up to 80 lbs Must be able to work outside in all elements (heat, cold, rain, snow) Weekend and/or overnight travel may be required A good driving record is preferred for this position Must pass drug screen
