Within the MFT program, teaching will include a wide range of core and elective course content in areas such as MFT theories, diversity, assessment, research methods, trauma, addictions, and psychopathology. Additional responsibilities include providing personalized learning opportunities, research collaborations, and mentoring relationships with graduate students. Outside the classroom, the faculty member will also be expected to support the MFT program's re-accreditation efforts, additional duties as assigned, and also contribute to the university's impact on mental health throughout the Greater Los Angeles area and globally. Qualifications A master or doctoral degree in clinical psychology or closely related fields is required; a doctorate is preferred.
