RESPONSIBILITIES Small Class Instruction: Embrace the advantages of small class sizes by providing intimate and focused instruction to nursing students. REQUIREMENTS Education, Certification, and Licensure MSN Graduate degree in nursing required. Earned doctorate in nursing or higher education-related field preferred. Active and unrestricted nursing license in the relevant jurisdiction. EXPERIENCE Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in a relevant specialty area. Prior experience in nursing education or clinical instruction is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of evidence-based nursing practice, healthcare trends, and clinical skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and community engagement skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively teach and mentor students from diverse backgrounds. Proficiency in using educational technology and simulation equipment. Familiarity with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements in nursing education. Familiarity with rural and underserved healthcare settings, with an understanding of the unique challenges faced by small communities.
