Position Information Banner Position Number 002408 Position Title Assistant Professor- Adult Clinical Neuropsychologist Classification Title Assistant Professor Department SOM - Neurology - MU9490 Job Description Department of Neurology : The Department of Neurology at Marshall University's School of Medicine is seeking a lifespan Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our growing department, which includes a board certified (ABPP) adult neuropsychologist, 9 adult neurologists, and 2 pediatric neurologists. The Department of Neurology is part of the most comprehensive healthcare provider group in the region (Marshall Health provider based practice of Cabell Huntington Hospital) and provides services for individuals with Parkinson's disease and other movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, neurodegenerative disorders, stroke, epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, neuromuscular disorders, and headaches. Responsibilities: The Clinical Neuropsychologist will provide comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations to a pediatric or lifespan population with a wide variety of cognitive and/or psychiatric disorders. Referral sources include providers throughout the Marshall Health provider group and throughout the region. Opportunities exist to develop specialty interests in cognitive rehabilitation, traumatic brain injury, stroke, brain tumors, and developmental disorders.
