Faculty-9 months Full Time/Salary WORK SCHEDULE Monday through Friday; specific times to be negotiated with Nursing Chair JOB SUMMARY The School of Nursing is seeking a nurse educator with a strong commitment to teaching excellence, scholarship, and innovation. The individual must be able to work collaboratively with a dynamic team, as well as work independently when necessary. This individual will serve as a member of the School of Nursing faculty with responsibility for teaching within the traditional program. Specialty area of particular interest: Critical Care. Other areas of interest are Medical-Surgical Nursing and Maternal/Infant Child. RESPONSIBILITIES Essential Functions: Teaching didactic and clinicals Advising traditional undergraduate students Work under pressure and meet deadlines Maintain positive interpersonal relationships Actively participate in assessment Service on committees Other duties, consistent with educator's talents and experience, to support the School of Nursing in achieving program outcomes.
