Position Overview: Full-time Hybrid position located in Elizabethtown, KY Responsible for assisting the marketing team for designing collateral for both print and digital assets and implementing events and campaigns that engage current and potential customers for the purpose of cultivating leads, generating new business, and increasing existing business. This role involves planning, executing, and evaluating experiential marketing campaigns that include events, tradeshows, and partnerships in a way that improves brand awareness and generates quantifiable incremental business. Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure events and corresponding campaigns deliver on overall corporate, marketing, and sales objectives.
  • Plan, manage and execute the logistics of trade shows and exhibits to achieve business objectives.
  • Develop project plans for each show, including scheduling, promotion, equipment needed, literature/samples, and work with Sales on staffing.
  • Ensure that each event is executed with excellence including branding, lead generation, data capture, coordination with 3rd party vendors (e.g. exhibit agency), conference organizers, and manufacturing/brand partners.
  • Work with partners on collaborative marketing initiatives and co-branded experiences.
  • Ensure that built into campaigns and events is an interactive experience, including product demos and educational opportunities.
  • Utilize digital platforms and social media to extend the reach and impact of experiential campaigns.
  • Analyze event performance, ROI, and customer feedback to optimize future campaigns and improve results. This analysis should include leads captured and business sourced from the events.
  • Prepare and present post-event reports to sales & marketing stakeholders.
  • Manage to be assigned event and campaign budgets, allocate resources effectively, and control costs to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Analyze best practices and industry trends for peers and other high-performing companies for insights and recommendations on continuous improvement.
  • Manage internal inventory of trade show equipment and supplies.
Required Skills / Abilities:

  • Experience working with CRM, data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing platforms and trends and how they can be utilized to enhance campaigns and events.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and follow-through.
  • The ability to work in a collaborative team environment to accomplish corporate objectives as a self-starter and independent individual.
  • Ability to travel approximately 25% to trade show and other events.
  • Collect and complete change requests by various teams and departments in a timely manner
  • Complete all key art collateral and other creative work as assigned by the Senior Graphic Designer and/or Art Director.
  • Coordinate with vendors to assure print work is submitted to printers, completed, and delivered to our offices or venue.
  • Uphold brand standards on all design work completed from menu editing/design to marketing campaigns & brand development.
  • Assist Senior Graphic Designer with large-scale projects from a creative viewpoint including websites, branding, photo/video shoots, content, campaigns, etc.
  • Openly welcome feedback from Senior Graphic Designers & Marketing teams to make improvements to designs for a stronger end product that is aligned with business objectives and messaging.
  • Ensure all work is looked over by Senior Graphic Designers before submitting for approvals/production.
  • Assist and/ or complete additional tasks as assigned.
EDUCATION/WORKING KNOWLEDGE
  • Associates degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of one to two (1-2) years of design experience.
  • Proficient in the latest versions of Microsoft Office, Mac OSX, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Must possess strong typography skills and a sense of space and layout.
  • Design with guest experiences in mind.
  • Must be able to move quickly through work and set the pace in the office.
  • Must be able to push and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • 5-25% Local Travel (United States).
  • May work extended hours irregular shifts, evening and/or weekend shifts, and holiday work may be required.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Must be effective as part of a team; ability to interact with internal and external customers, managers, and co-workers in a professional, courteous manner.
