Position Summary

Under general supervision, the Assistant Equipment Coordinator will provide support to the Mechanics Team to ensure the efficient tracking and compliance of the department's functions.



Your Role

Responsible for providing administrative support to Operations, to include but not limited to:

    • Maintaining daily equipment reports by way of inspection reports, Geotab GPS system, fuel logs, etc.
    • Tracking and communicating vehicle and equipment locations, registration, inspection and maintenance schedules
    • Tracking License Plates, gas cards, equipment purchase & sales, and truck keys
    • Filing and maintaining equipment records
    • Assisting with equipment acquisitions and disposals
    • Coordinating, logging deliveries
    • Maintains Work Order Log
    • Responsible for maintaining First Aid Kits supplies fully stocked

What You Bring

  • High School Diploma required
  • 3-5 years of administrative experience required
  • Bilingual preferred (Spanish)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel preferred
  • Demonstrates effective written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrates analytical skills in areas of basic to moderate complexity
  • Demonstrates sound judgment in resolving matters of limited scope and complexity
  • Demonstrates initiative by identifying issues and recommending solutions
  • Demonstrates ability to prioritize work assigned work and complete in a timely manner
  • Demonstrates ability to collaborate and work effectively as part of a team
  • Demonstrates the application of business knowledge by using academic knowledge and on the job experiences when resolving issues
  • Demonstrates confidentiality in all aspects of the role
  • Demonstrates responsibility in reporting to work on a consistent and timely basis
  • Demonstrates the ability to work varying schedules, as needed, to include working overtime

Physical Requirements:

Candidate should have the ability to sit for extended periods, often at a computer workstation, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity, such as typing, filing, and handling paperwork. Good vision and hand-eye coordination are essential for accuracy in data entry and reviewing technical documents. Additionally, they should be able to move comfortably around the office environment and possibly lift light objects or boxes occasionally. Overall, maintaining a level of physical fitness conducive to prolonged sedentary work and occasional light physical tasks is important for optimal performance in this role.

Physical Requirements

As a Payroll Administrator, the primary physical requirement is proficiency in desk-based tasks, involving extensive computer usage for managing payroll processes, data entry, and analysis. This role operates within an office environment, typically adhering to standard business hours from Monday to Friday. Maintaining a comfortable and ergonomic workspace is prioritized to ensure optimal productivity and well-being.
