William James College is currently seeking a full-time psychologist/neuropsychologist to help oversee a fast-paced testing center and complete comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations and consultations for patients across the lifespan. Our clinic sees clients from preschool aged through adulthood but focuses on school aged children primarily. Housed within a graduate school of psychology, we are a training clinic that values collaboration, on-going learning and a passion for serving individuals from historically underserved populations. Essential Functions Work closely with the executive director and administrative staff to create procedures suited to the clinical needs and resources of the clinic (systems for case tracking, billing, storing data, etc.) Help to oversee a staff of 5 other psychologists, 2 postdoctoral fellows, a biller, an intake team of work-study students, and 10 interns. Provide direct supervision to practicum students, interns and postdoctoral fellows Participate in the interview and hiring process for all future staff, interns, and fellows. Present at a didactic seminar four times a year. Manage case assignments Communicate with families and manage disputes with insurance companies as needed Participate in a weekly staff meeting. Conducting approximately one testing case a week or 40 cases a year and participating in IEP meetings and/or school visits as needed. Qualifications Doctorate in psychology and three years of job-related experience Superb clinical, writing, and verbal communication skills. Prior supervision experience Willingness to be paneled with Blue Cross and MassHealth (under the group number for MassHealth). Strong organizational and time-management skills Customer-service oriented with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills Ability to multi-task and work under pressure Strong attention to detail is critical Familiarity with assessment of children, individuals with autism, and individuals with learning differences is preferred.
