University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus Department of Surgery, Division of Transplant Surgery Assistant Director of Clinical Research Studies (Instructor) Position - Requisition :33313 Job Summary: The Department of Surgery, Division of Transplant Surgery at the University of Colorado School of Medicine is seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) Assistant Director of Clinical Research Studies at the rank of Instructor. The main responsibility of the Assistant Director is to manage transplant clinical grants that includes, grant applications, manuscripts, protocols, standard operating procedures and contract negotiations for budgeting and logistics. This will include managing grants with professional research assistants, research fellows and medical students. Work Location: Hybrid - this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 2-3 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings. MD or PhD in a related field 3 years of relevant experience at equivalent rank Preferred Qualifications: Experience with transplant related trials. Excellent writing and editing skills. Ability to write on a wide variety of research topics by researching and developing a proficient understanding of new areas of research. Good understanding of statistical analyses Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
