General Responsibilities Assists the Director of Programs in overseeing and managing the operational and programmatic functions of the Adult Residential Services. Ensures all program goals are met, all regulatory requirements are followed, and all staff duties are performed in a timely and accurate manner. Ensures the cleanliness and safety of Residential Programs. Ensures the highest level of care, service and engagement with the participants in the program area as well as identifying appropriate community activities. Ensures that a continuous active treatment program is provided for all individuals to best enable them to attain and maintain the highest possible level of skill and independence. This position ensures services are provided in line with the participant Individual Support Plan (ISP), and ensures accurate and timely billing of residential program services. Will complete Program Specialist responsibilities as needed, which include oversight of the ISP meeting process, requesting of service authorization when needed, family communication, and activity planning which includes regular and frequent community activities. This position provides frequent on-the-floor supervision and is available as an on-call director on a rotational schedule that runs for seven days, including the weekend. Starting Salary: with Bachelors degree- $54,080.00 (+) based on years of experience with Masters degree- $59,488.00 (+) based on years of experience with Masters degree and BCBA- $72,009.60 (+) based on years of experience Basic Qualifications Education/Training: Bachelor degree required. degree preferred in human services discipline from an accredited college or university. Certifications/Licensure: valid US Driver License and minimum age of twenty-one (21) years old. Capability of attaining approved Melmark driver status preferred. Successful completion of CPR, First Aid, Crisis Intervention. Successful completion of Melmark Medication Administration Certification courses as needed. Successful completion of all Melmark and regulatory required training. Skill(s): Knowledge of regulatory standards for PA ODP 6400 regulations, and Chapter 6100 Regulations. Working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office. Requires strong interpersonal skills, good writing, communication and organizational skills. Experience: A minimum of five (5) years experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities is required. minimum of two (2) years of management experience is also required. A minimum of two (2) years driving experience while holding a U.S. state vehicle driver license is also required.
