The Assistant Director (AD) of Health and Social Services (HSS) provides overall daily clinical and administrative operations of the Refugee Health Promotion (RHP) and Social Adjustment Service (SAS) program. This role provides leadership and oversight of Clinicians and Program Managers. They will develop relationships with the community, consortium, service providers, physicians, and referral sources. The AD directly reports to the Director of Health and Social Services.
Qualifications:
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Program management experience.
• Preference for those with experience working/volunteering with foreign-born populations and/or refugees.
• Knowledge of public benefit programs and social service resources in the Greater Houston area.
• Foreign language fluency in a language spoken by refugee populations is strongly preferred.
• High degree of independent judgment, flexibility, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and automobile liability insurance.
