Our firm is currently seeking a dynamic and highly-skilled Consulting Assistant Controller to join our team on a contract basis.

Responsibilities:

As a Consulting Assistant Controller, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Assisting in the preparation of financial reports such as financial statements and budget performance.
2. Ensuring the accuracy of financial data and compliance with accounting standards.
3. Overseeing the implementation and effective operation of ERP systems within the organization.
4. Assisting in the development of internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures.
5. Collaborating with external auditors and managing internal controls.
6. Performing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner.
7. Assisting in the preparation of budgets or forecasts.
8. Participating in preparation for the annual audit.
9. Providing insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Consulting Assistant Controller position, the candidate must possess the following:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. CPA or MBA preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the legal industry.
3. Demonstrated proficiency in financial reporting and ERP implementation.
