OVERVIEW OF THE ASSISTANT CONTROLLER ROLE:
- Manage the overall accounting functions and staff by establishing and enforcing all accounting policies and procedures related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, payroll, and other operational procedures.
- Assistant Controller establishes financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems.
- Develop and maintain planning and budgeting systems, analysis and interpretation of trends requiring senior management's attention
- Assistant Controller prepares managerial reports to present findings and recommendations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR ASSISTANT CONTROLLER ROLE:
- Bachelors' in Accounting, Finance or experience equivalent
- 3+ years of hands-on general ledger accounting experience
- Assistant Controller must have ERP experience.
