The Assistant Controller responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Oversee month end close
- Provide day to day oversight of payroll, AR, and AP
- Directly supervise 2-4 payroll specialists and staff accountants
- Ensure all tax compliance and leasing standard compliance
- Assist with intercompany transactions and consolidations
- Assist with external audit needs and schedules
- Other tasks and duties as assigned
Qualifications of the Assistant Controller:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- 5+ year's full cycle general ledger experience
- Experience directly supervising staff
- High degree of proficiency with Excel and accounting software
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
