Overview of the Assistant Controller role:
- Support the Controller in overseeing the company's financial operations and processes.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to accounting principles.
- Monitor and analyze financial data, identifying trends, and providing insights to senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process, including variance analysis and reporting.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
- Assist in the implementation and enhancement of financial systems and controls.
- Provide support during external audits and regulatory examinations.
Preferred requirements for the Assistant Controller:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of accounting experience
