In this role, you'll play a vital role in our financial department by overseeing various accounting activities and ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

Here's what you'll do:

Financial Reporting Expert: Prepare all monthly financial reports, manage the general ledger, and serve as a technical advisor for accessing accounting systems.

Budgeting and Auditing Master: Coordinate the annual budget process and work with external auditors during the year-end audit.

Project Management Pro: Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time.

Strategic Partner: Collaborate with the regional controller on regional strategy, projects, acquisitions, and growth initiatives.

Process Guru: Develop, implement, and maintain processes and procedures for accurate and timely financial data analysis.

Internal Controls Champion: Develop and maintain internal control structures and procedures for financial reporting.

Problem-Solving Sleuth: Resolve complex financial reporting issues.

Audit Liaison: Manage the audit process and work with external auditors on accounting and reporting matters.

Reporting & Analysis Pro: Oversee the preparation and analysis of internal reports, ensuring quality, reliability, and timeliness.

Compliance Champion: Provide operational and technical accounting expertise to ensure adherence to GAAP, company policies, and regulations.

Communication Ace: Summarize findings on financial reports for senior management, auditors, and regulators.

Team Leader and Mentor: Lead and support future integration projects, lead the team through change, and participate in staff development.

You'll be successful if you have:

10+ years of experience in accounting with a progressive track record.

At least 7 years of management/supervisory experience.

Prior experience in the healthcare industry (1+ years).

Strong computer skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other financial reporting tools.

In-depth knowledge of accounting functions, including general ledger, cost accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls.

Up-to-date understanding of GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles).

Management expertise to guide and develop assigned staff.
