Job Summary: The Assistant Athletic Director supports the Director of Student Activities and Athletics in various administrative and operational tasks related to the school district's athletic programs. This part-time stipend position is crucial for the smooth execution of sports events and activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in scheduling and coordinating game workers, officials, and volunteers for various athletic events.
• Support the organization and preparation of competitions and matches, ensuring all logistics are handled efficiently.
• Oversee field and facility preparations to ensure they meet safety and regulatory standards for all athletic activities.
• Collaborate with the Athletic Director in managing equipment inventory, maintenance, and procurement.
• Help in the planning and execution of athletic department events, including fundraisers, award ceremonies, and special programs.
• Coordinate with other school departments to facilitate the integration of athletic programs with the school's academic objectives.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with all state, district, and school policies and regulations regarding athletic programs.
• Engage with students, parents, and community members to foster a positive and supportive environment for the school's athletic endeavors.

Qualifications:

• Experience in athletic administration or related field preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Knowledge of public school athletic program regulations and guidelines.
• Commitment to student-athlete development and success.

Experience:

• Prior experience in coaching or athletic program coordination is advantageous.

This is a stipend position paid according to PAEA teacher contract; annual stipend of $9,426
