The Asset Management Specialist 1 will; Work with external partners to procure IT products and related equipment for purchase for contracting customers. Compare available goods and work with inhouse and external contracting partners to determine appropriate pricing. Ensure on time delivery and improved purchasing quality through setting up the quality check procedures for the suppliers and personal onsite checking. Meet with cross-functional groups within day-to-day operations, including warehouse and asset management and, program management to meet requirements needed for ticketing purchasing requirements. Identify and resolve logistical complications and supply chain shortages. Handle customer relation problems promptly and appropriately, provide guidance, escalate issues according to established procedures. Responds to the customer's questions ensuring high level customer satisfaction by clarifying customer needs and ensuring they are met. Assist with the procurement of items along with quoted items needed within required metrics and contractual SLAs Required Qualifications Analyst Level - Associate's degree or 3 +; Experience with government procurement, regulations and policies. Working knowledge of the entire procurement process including Change Management (Change Request and Return Material Authorization). Ability to be team-oriented as well as work independently, results-driven, positive attitude, and be active with the entire procurement process. Ability to organize workload efficiently, meet tight timelines, problem solve effectively, and perform duties of the job accurately and with input and follow-up from management. Experience in preparing accurate and complete purchase order documents.
