Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Asset Analyst to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in the financial management of our renewable energy projects, primarily focusing on solar projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for the monthly operating reports, variance analysis, and managing relationships with various stakeholders. They will also play a key role in maximizing project financial performance and ensuring compliance with all tax requirements. The Asset Analyst will have a deep understanding of USGAAP, IFRS, tax limitation agreements, equipment warranties, and monthly financials.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct monthly operating reports and variance analysis to assess the financial performance of renewable energy projects.
2. Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operation and financial success of projects.
3. Ensure compliance with USGAAP, IFRS, tax limitation agreements, and other relevant financial regulations and standards.
4. Oversee all aspects of equipment warranties to minimize risk and ensure maximum value.
5. Prepare and present monthly financials to senior management, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.
6. Work closely with the project team to maximize the financial performance of renewable energy projects.
7. Stay abreast of all tax requirements related to renewable energy projects and ensure all projects are in compliance.
8. Develop and implement strategies to maximize project financial performance.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all financial aspects of projects are effectively managed.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the renewable energy sector.
2. Proven experience with USGAAP, IFRS, tax limitation agreements, and equipment warranties.
3. Strong knowledge of financial analysis, including the preparation and presentation of monthly financials.
4. Experience in managing relationships with a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external.
5. Familiarity with the financial management of solar projects is highly desirable.
6. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
9. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required. A Master's degree or relevant professional certification would be an added advantage.
