Job Details

As an Assessment Psychologist, you'll conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy to individuals and families with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Administering standardized assessments (e.g., WISC, WAIS, ADOS) for psychological evaluations.
  • Designing treatment plans and coordinating care with healthcare professionals.
  • Offering therapy services and determining Regional Center eligibility per California's Lanterman Act.
  • Advocating, advising, and guiding families on resources and services.
  • Monitoring treatment progress, modifying plans, and educating patients and families on diagnosis and treatment options.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely documentation of clinical services.

Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an accredited institution.
  • Current state licensure as a Clinical Psychologist.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in clinical psychology with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including autism.
  • Proficiency in standardized psychological assessments (e.g., WISC) and evidence-based practices.
