We are on the lookout for a dynamic, detail-oriented and experienced Consulting Assembler I to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be a key player in our assembly operations, contributing to the manufacturing of high-quality products. The individual will be responsible for the assembly of electromechanical components, subassemblies, and products, working from blueprints, schematics, and other specifications. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to use various tools such as pneumatic tools, drill press, and other mechanical assemblies.

Responsibilities:

1. Assemble and install electromechanical components and subassemblies according to specified blueprints and schematics.
2. Operate and maintain various assembly tools including pneumatic tools, drill press, and other mechanical assemblies.
3. Perform quality checks to ensure assemblies and subassemblies meet production standards and specifications.
4. Troubleshoot and rectify assembly issues and malfunctions, ensuring the functionality and reliability of final products.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve assembly processes.
6. Identifies and replaces or reports defective subassemblies
7. Keeps track of inventory in work area, and notifies supervisor when material is needed
8. Conducts simple go-no-go testing.
9. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • 2+ years' mechanical / electromechanical assembly experience.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and other technical drawings.
  • Hands-on experience with assembly tools such as pneumatic tools, drill press, and other mechanical assemblies.
  • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet production deadlines.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
