Hot Runner Technician - Lawrenceville, GA - $24-$27/hr - Permanent Position - Excellent Benefits - M-F 6am-2:30pm Must have: - Plastic Manufacturing background
- Mold, Hot Runner, Tooling experience
- Some electrical/wiring experience
- Read blueprints
- Good reporting/communication
Job Description- Core Responsibilities of the Assembly Technician:
• Read and understand engineering drawings to Assemble and Wire Hot Runner components.
• Set up and Assemble Molds/Hot Runners in a timely manner, meet deadlines.
• Produce high quality products.
• Check all Assembled parts to the dimensions specified on the engineering drawing and conform to all certification requirements.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Work to verbal and written instructions.
• Support an environment of growth and enthusiasm with other associates.
Qualifications:
• 5 years' experience in plastics manufacturing preferred
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Knowledge of electrical wiring schematics
• Ability to work independently.
• Good math skills
• Know and understand "Quality at the Source"
• Understand and practice safe working methods
• Basic understanding of tools
• Mold Assembly experience
• Be willing to work to ISO / QS 9000 standards and have a commitment to continuous improvement
Education Requirements:
• High School Graduate or G E D
