Job Specific Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old Be able to regularly lift a minimum of 50 lbs Be able to be certified with an Individual Focus certificate in Oregon Intervention System (OIS) Be able to be certified and maintain certification with First Aid/CPR Pass a State/Federal criminal history check Pass a pre-employment drug screen for the use of illegal substances in Oregon Position Specific Requirements: You receive your schedule at least 2 weeks in advance. This position is VERY flexible, work schedule varies - Fri-Sun are REQUIRED working days. You could be working Days, Evenings, Awake Overnights, Live-Ins (example: Fri 2pm-Sun 8pm). You can pick 2 non-weekend (Mon - Thurs) days off as your preferred days off. We do not guarantee these days off, but it is good to know your preference. Provide on-call support 1 week every 5-7 weeks, supervisors will call you to come in and cover call-outs. Need to be free of other commitments (other job/school). In this position, you are required to live within a 30 mile radius of the region to respond to for immediate needs. Mental Activities: Must be able to interpret various verbal and written instructions. Must be able perform basic math skills. Must be able read a variety of books, magazines, instruction manuals and other related writings. Training Requirements and Expectations: Attend a required Meet and Greet. This is the scheduled first day of work. Shadow shifts between Meet and Greet and Orientation Training.
