The Area Rehab Director is responsible for direction and implementation of rehab services at assigned facilities. Accountable for achieving fiscal, clinical, operational, and quality benchmarks as established utilizing Legacy Healthcare Services (LHS) tools and modeling. Instrumental in helping to identify clinical needs of the census in assigned geographic area and ensures the hires support the LHS staffing model and clinical reach for the anticipated caseload. Develops and maintains professional relationships with customers, clients, and LHS personnel at all levels. Qualifications/ Education: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Preferred clinical background as a Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT) or Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), with a bachelor's degree in a complementary field, or a tenured LHS therapy assistant. Two to three years' experience in Long Term Care (LTC), rehab agency or outpatient setting with at least one year of supervisory or administration experience. Minimum of a degree from accredited college or university or equivalent experience (i.e., degree in PT, OT, SLP). Must have solid understanding and comfort with computer skills. Supervisory Responsibilities: Rehab Directors and other LHS employees at assigned sites. Licenses: Licensed and/or registered (PT, OT, SLP) in state of assigned sites.
