Overview:

As the Area Manager of Administration for Food & Beverage is responsible for managing the daily operation of the Food & Beverage back-office operations to include coordination with Workforce Management, timekeeping, managing work-flow, process of associate data, managing the office team members, and serve as support to the management team for Food Operations. This Area Manager will hire, train, and evaluate the back-office team members; develop, review, and improve policies, systems, and procedures; ensure the office operates efficiently, as well as serve as a liaison with the Human Resources division.


Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the food and beverage back-office operations and team members. Responsible for onboarding, training, coaching, and leading team members; develop, review, and improve policies, systems, and procedures; provide assurance that the office operates smoothly and efficiently at all times.
  • Liaise with the Human Resources team for coaching and counseling in the disciplinary process. Work together to ensure that all work-flows and records are accurately maintained and timely.
  • Communicate policies and procedures to team and assists with communication within department and division. Coach, counsel, and provide development for food and beverage team. Initiates and coordinate goal direction, communicate deadlines, and projects for department.
  • Prepare and reviews staffing and operational reports to include Hired Reports, Training Reports, Scheduling Reports, Minor work related reports, etc.
  • Develop training programs, in conjunction with the operations team, internal to the Food & Beverage division. Assist the Training team in scheduling training sessions and scheduling trainings and communication of training dates.
  • Provide break and meal periods to subordinates in compliance with park, state and/or federal guidelines. Support parks execution on scheduling, time and attendance requirements in accordance with scope of the position expectations.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Human Resources field preferred.
  • 4-6 years of related work experience required.
  • ServeSafe/ServeSafe Alcohol required.
  • 1-3 years of supervisory/leadership experience required.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
  • Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
  • Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
