Create innovative and technologically advanced architectural designs using computer and architectural design principles. Collaborate with clients to develop schematic and detailed site plans, floor plans, building images, building elevations, materials selections, and color selections for diverse commercial and residential types, including but not limited to dental offices, urgent care centers, massage centers, business offices, and condominiums. Utilize AutoCAD and Revit to produce detailed and precise MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) and construction documents, ensuring accuracy in project execution. Employ Rhino 3D to visualize and present designs, including faades, outdoor areas, interiors, and objects. Utilize V-ray to generate high-quality and realistic rendering effects. Use Adobe applications to produce exceptional design results, incorporating creative elements. Utilize 3D printers and laser cutters for prototyping and model creation, enabling efficient design iteration and visualization. Liaise with relevant authorities, including building, fire, planning, and water districts, to ensure compliance with regulations and obtain necessary permits. Coordinate construction document preparation and analyze building/zoning codes. Conduct on-site observations as directed by the project manager. Record and reconstruct accurate as-built drawings of existing sites, buildings, or interior conditions, ensuring reliable references for future projects. Identify existing electrical, plumbing, and structural systems, contributing to effective building upgrades and repair solutions. Manage projects from initial design conception until the signing of agreements and transaction phase, ensuring timely completion. Provide data for evaluation of budget compliance and project billings. Ensure that designs comply with California building codes, particularly ADA and Title 24, and prioritize safety and accessibility. Understand and apply the current green building principles and practices. Communicate with clients throughout the design phase until the final transaction of properties.
One (1) year of experience in job offered or other position in architectural design or real estate development, including six (6) months of experience in any of the following skills: MEP design, Rhino 3D, Revit, AutoCAD, and V-Ray. Requires LEED Green Associate credential.
A bachelors degree in architecture or closely related field.
